Create an app in your workspace, then open the app in the Developer Hub. Intercom says it provides an access token as soon as you create an app; you can find it under Configure > Authentication, and it is also visible on Test & Publish > Your Workspaces. Enable Messenger identity verification for your workspace and get the Messenger secret from Settings > Workspace > Security > Messenger. Generate an HS256 JWT server-side for a single verified end user with the required claims described in Fin Agent API: MCP Server: aud must be fin-agent-api-mcp, exp is required and must be within 30 days, and the token identifies the user for Fin.
