In the VictorOps account, generate the API credentials used by the Public API: an API ID and API Key. The public API docs at VictorOps Public API show these exact header names as required on requests: X-VO-Api-Id and X-VO-Api-Key. The docs do not expose a separate credential-generation page in the public documentation, so obtain/create the pair from the VictorOps account settings/admin area used for API access.
