Create a token from your Uptrace user profile/auth tokens page as described in the Uptrace JSON API docs. For MCP, the quick-start says to create it at MCP Server docs under User menu → Auth tokens. If your organization uses SSO, create a separate non-SSO user account and grant it project access because user tokens do not work with SSO for API access.
