TVmaze exposes two HTTP APIs: a free public REST API at https://api.tvmaze.com and an authenticated user API at https://api.tvmaze.com/v1 documented by an OpenAPI spec; no GraphQL, MCP server, or CLI surfaced.

Credentials
Access to the user API requires a TVmaze account; the docs say premium is required for the user API. Sign in to your TVmaze account, open the dashboard, and copy your API key. Use your TVmaze username as the HTTP Basic username and the API key as the HTTP Basic password.
