Token Terminal provides onchain financial and market data about crypto projects, chains, sectors, assets, and related metrics. Its products let users explore this data in dashboards, APIs, MCP-compatible AI clients, and data-sharing workflows.
Token Terminal exposes a REST API at https://api.tokenterminal.com/v2 authenticated with a bearer API key, plus a hosted Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://mcp.tokenterminal.com/mcp authenticated with Token Terminal OAuth 2.1 + PKCE.

Upgrade to the Token Terminal API plan in your account billing page, then get your API key from your Token Terminal account page as described in the API introduction. Keep it secret and send it as Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>.
Connect an MCP-compatible client to Token Terminal MCP docs at https://mcp.tokenterminal.com/mcp. On first connection, the client opens a browser window where you sign in to Token Terminal and select the user account and organization the session should operate under. The client stores the resulting access token and refreshes it transparently. For a concrete example, see the Codex CLI setup.
