Create an application token from your Socrata/Data & Insights developer or account settings as described in Application Tokens. Use the token in the X-App-Token request header.
Use a Socrata/Data & Insights user account that has access to the target tenant and dataset. The Authentication docs say users may authenticate with their username and password via HTTP Basic authentication.
Create an API key and secret pair from your Socrata/Data & Insights account settings as referenced by the Authentication documentation. The pair is then sent together using HTTP Basic authentication, with the API key as the username and the secret as the password.
