Snowflake REST APIs
Details
Authentication
Authorization: Bearer <credential> Generate an RSA key pair and assign the public key to your Snowflake user as described in Key-pair authentication and key-pair rotation. Then create and sign a JWT with that private key for API calls that accept Snowflake JWT authentication.
Authorization: Bearer <credential> Register or configure a Snowflake OAuth client and obtain an access token as described in Configure Snowflake OAuth for custom clients and the broader OAuth docs. Use the resulting access token in API requests to Snowflake surfaces that accept OAuth.
Authorization: Bearer <credential> Create a programmatic access token in Snowflake following Using programmatic access tokens for authentication. This token can be used as a bearer-style API token for Snowflake endpoints that support PATs, including Snowflake REST APIs and the SQL API.
