Search1API provides web search, news search, page crawling, sitemap discovery, trending feeds, screenshots, extraction, and deep crawling for AI agents and applications. It also offers hosted agent interfaces such as an MCP server and a terminal CLI built on the same service.
Search1API exposes a REST API at `api.search1api.com` with a public OpenAPI spec, a hosted OAuth-protected MCP server at `mcp.search1api.com/mcp`, and a first-party `s1` CLI; authentication is via Search1API OAuth 2.1 or Search1API API keys depending on surface/client support.

Create a key in the Search1API dashboard. The docs say to create, rotate, and revoke keys there; the MCP guide notes the dashboard's MCP page can generate client configs with the key filled in. Use the key as a bearer token in Authorization, or where supported as apiKey in the MCP URL query. For CLI automation, you can also run s1 config set-key YOUR_API_KEY or set SEARCH1API_KEY.
$ s1 loginAcquired by the CLI — running s1 login opens the auth flow and stores the credential.
