Rippling exposes a documented REST API at `https://rest.ripplingapis.com` authenticated with either customer API tokens or partner OAuth bearer tokens; no public GraphQL API, MCP server, or CLI was found in Rippling’s own docs.

In Rippling, go to API Tokens under _Tools > Developer > API Tokens_, click Create API token, choose a name, API version, and scopes, then copy the token value immediately because Rippling only shows it once. The token inherits the permissions of the user who created it and is sent as Authorization: Bearer <token>.
Apply to the Rippling App Shop from the developer portal overview, then after approval sign in to your partner company as described in Register your Rippling Account. Configure your app listing's OAuth settings in the developer portal and use the installation flow in Installation (OAuth) to obtain per-customer access and refresh tokens from Rippling for your app.
