Create or use a Google Cloud project, enable the Google Cloud Memorystore for Redis API, then obtain an access token with Google Cloud credentials. The easiest path is usually via the Google Cloud CLI: install gcloud, run gcloud auth application-default login or gcloud auth login, and use those credentials to mint OAuth access tokens for Google APIs. For app-based access, configure OAuth credentials in Google Cloud Console API Credentials. The Redis API discovery document lists scopes including https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/redis.read-only, and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/redis.read-write.
