Policy Analyzer is a Google Cloud Policy Intelligence service for querying policy-related activity and understanding access on Google Cloud resources. It is part of Google Cloud's security and IAM analysis tooling.
policyanalyzer.googleapis.com exposes one REST API surface, the Google Cloud Policy Analyzer API, authenticated either with a Google Cloud API key or a Google OAuth 2.0 bearer token.

In the Google Cloud Console Credentials page, create an API key for your Google Cloud project. Use it with this API as the key query parameter. The Policy Analyzer discovery document states the API key is required unless you provide an OAuth 2.0 token.
Create OAuth 2.0 credentials in the Google Cloud Console Credentials page, then obtain a Google OAuth access token with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform scope. For quick local use, Google Cloud docs commonly use gcloud auth print-access-token after signing in with the Google Cloud CLI. The Policy Analyzer discovery document lists OAuth 2.0 with the cloud-platform scope.
