PI Web API Windows credentials basic discovered

Authorization: Basic <credential>

PI Web API authenticates against Windows accounts in the connected PI System environment. Ask your PI System administrator to provision a Windows account with PI Web API access, then use that username/password for Basic authentication if Basic is enabled on the server. AVEVA documents that Kerberos is enabled by default and Basic authentication is an optional server setting in Authentication methods - PI Web API and Configuration with PI Web API Admin Utility.
