Open Targets is a biomedical data platform for exploring relationships among genes, diseases, drugs, variants, studies, and supporting evidence for target identification and prioritisation. It provides public access to its platform data and analyses through web, API, and AI-oriented interfaces.
Open Targets exposes three public integration surfaces: a legacy REST API with an OpenAPI spec, a GraphQL API, and a hosted MCP server; the published docs show no authentication requirement for any of them.
