Enable the On-Demand Scanning API for your Google Cloud project in the Google Cloud console. Then authenticate with Google Cloud credentials, typically by running gcloud auth application-default login for user credentials or creating a service account in the Google Cloud console and using its JSON key / workload identity. Client libraries and gcloud then mint OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens for the API.
