NDHM (now ABDM under India’s National Health Authority) provides digital health infrastructure for identity, consented health-information exchange, and related provider/user network interactions. Its platform supports participants such as consent managers, health information providers, and health information users in the national digital health ecosystem.
NDHM/ABDM exposes five documented HTTP API surfaces for consent-manager, gateway, Health ID, HIP, and HIU integrations; docs indicate onboarding via the ABDM Sandbox and issued digital keys/tokens for authenticated access.

Apply for access on the ABDM Sandbox. The ABDM guidelines state that software developers must apply on the sandbox website for access, and that after compliance/certification they are added to the ABDM registry and receive a set of digital keys that provide access to production APIs. Use the sandbox documentation and onboarding flow there to obtain the keys and participant identifiers needed for your role (for example CM/HIP/HIU IDs and token-issuing credentials).
