Create an account in the Metriport Developer Dashboard. For the Medical API, request access as described in the Quickstart, then in the dashboard enable Sandbox, open Developers, and click Generate API Key. For the Converter API, after confirming your email, enable Sandbox, open Developers, and click Generate Secret Key as shown in the Converter quickstart. Save the key when shown; it is sent in the x-api-key header.
