Magic Hour is an AI media platform for generating and editing video, images, and audio in a browser workspace and through developer APIs. It also publishes agent-oriented resources such as MCP servers, OpenAPI, llms.txt, and agent skills for integrating those capabilities into apps and AI assistants.
Magic Hour exposes a bearer-authenticated REST API at api.magichour.ai plus two hosted MCP servers: a creation MCP at mcp.magichour.ai with OAuth or API-key auth, and a public docs-search MCP at docs.magichour.ai/mcp.

Sign in to Magic Hour, open the API Keys section of the Developer Hub, click Create API Key, name it, and copy the secret immediately because the full key is only shown once. Store it securely and send it as Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>; the docs also recommend exporting it as MAGIC_HOUR_API_KEY.
Connect an MCP client to https://mcp.magichour.ai/. Magic Hour publishes OAuth protected-resource metadata and an authorization server with Dynamic Client Registration, so compatible MCP clients can register themselves automatically and then send you to approve access in the browser. For clients that ask, the docs note Claude may use client ID magic-hour-mcp.
Create an API key in the Magic Hour Developer Hub. Send it as a bearer token and keep it out of source control.
Connect to the hosted MCP endpoint. Compatible MCP clients discover the authorization server and complete the OAuth flow automatically.
