InfluxData develops InfluxDB, a time series database platform for collecting, storing, querying, and analyzing time-stamped data in cloud and self-managed deployments. Its product family includes InfluxDB 2 and InfluxDB 3 variants for OSS, enterprise, and cloud use cases.
InfluxData exposes a documented InfluxDB 2 OSS HTTP API, an Influx documentation MCP server, and two CLIs (`influx` and `influxdb3`); the main developer auth mechanism is an InfluxDB API token.

Create an API token in your InfluxDB deployment. For InfluxDB 2 OSS, use the setup and API docs at InfluxDB OSS v2 get started and InfluxDB HTTP API, which document token-based authorization management under /authorizations. For InfluxDB 3 Cloud Serverless, sign up and create credentials from your account following Cloud Serverless setup. For self-managed InfluxDB 3 Core or Enterprise, set up the instance and create the token during/admin after setup using Core setup or Enterprise setup. Use the resulting token as a bearer token.
