Sign up on Headout's Affiliate platform. Headout says API keys are then sent by email. You receive both a production key prefixed pk_ for https://www.headout.com and a testing key prefixed tk_ for https://sandbox.api.test-headout.com. Send the key in the Headout-Auth header.
