Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server supports OAuth Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so the client registers itself automatically — no developer-portal app, client_id, or client_secret to create.
Create an app at Create app or in the App Console. For web integrations, add your site domains (or localhost) in the app settings and then place the returned app key into the data-app-key attribute of the https://www.dropbox.com/static/api/2/dropins.js script tag. Dropbox documents this setup on the Chooser, Saver, and Embedder pages.
