Create or choose a Google Cloud project in the Google Cloud Console, enable the Cloud Domains API as described in Roles and permissions, then authenticate with Google Cloud. The easiest path for developers is to install the Google Cloud CLI and run gcloud auth login or gcloud auth application-default login to obtain OAuth 2.0 access for your account/application; service-account based auth can also be used through Google Cloud IAM.
