Create a BuildBuddy account at app.buildbuddy.io, sign in, then open the Quickstart page to find your organization's API key. The docs note you can also create multiple API keys for different contexts. Use this key in the x-buildbuddy-api-key header for API calls, or as a bearer token for the MCP endpoint.
