In the Aserto Console, open Connections and expand the Aserto Directory connection. Copy the API key shown there. You'll also need your tenant ID from Account settings or Manage organization.

Sign in to the Aserto Console. The docs state the CLI can obtain and cache an access token by running aserto login, which opens a browser to authenticate with the Aserto identity provider. This same logged-in account/JWT is accepted by some hosted APIs and the authenticated docs experience.
