Sign in to App Center, open Account Settings, then create a User API token as described in App Center API tokens and documentation. The REST API endpoints in the published OpenAPI spec state they accept User API Token, and the CLI also accepts a token directly via appcenter login --token or the APPCENTER_ACCESS_TOKEN environment variable.
