Log in to your Adyen Customer Area, select your company account, then go to Developers > API credentials. Open or create an API credential, then under server settings generate an API key and use it in the X-API-Key header. For live endpoints, generate a separate key in your live Customer Area.

Create or open an API credential to get the web service username, then generate the basic authentication password for that credential and send them together with HTTP Basic auth. For live use, create or update the credential in your live Customer Area.
